Chicken Burger Recipe
A homemade chicken burger is juicy, flavorful, and a perfect option for a lighter yet satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 500 g ground chicken (or minced chicken breast)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns, toasted
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite sauce
Instructions
1. Mix the chicken
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently until just combined.
2. Shape the patties
Divide into 4 equal portions and form into round patties. Press a small dent in the center with your thumb to help them cook evenly.
3. Cook the burgers
Grill or pan-fry over medium heat for 4–6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked.
If adding cheese, place a slice on top during the last minute to melt.
4. Assemble your chicken burger
Layer the bun with your sauce, lettuce, tomato, and the juicy chicken patty.
Top with onion slices and the other half of the bun.
Enjoy hot with a side of sweet potato fries!
